WHO ARE WE?
Gareth Hill (North Wales Rangers, Wrexham Raptors Coach)
I started playing touch with Wrexham Touch in 2008 and was part of the team that took part in the first competitive game at a tournament in Gloucester, in which Wrexham Touch finished runners up to the Cardiff Raptors. I gained my level 1 referee badge in 2009, and my level 2 badge in 2011. I refereed my first international matches in 2011 at the pre-World Cup tournament in Manchester. In 2012, I represented the North Wales Rangers at the inaugural Wales Touch Nationals in Swansea. In 2013 I refereed my final international matches at the Home Nations in Dublin, but unfortunately have had to retire from high level refereeing due to persistent injuries. Since 2013 I have been assisting with the coaching at Wrexham Raptors Touch, and in 2016, I took charge of the North Wales Rangers Women's team for the Nationals. I am currently the main coach at both the Wrexham Raptors and all North Wales Rangers teams.
